Twig and Berries Cocktail
Muddled blackberries, gin and a sprig of fresh thyme make this well-balanced cocktail a great match to summery dishes like chicken with grilled plums, salmon with chive beurre blanc or Four Cheese Pizza.
Twig & Berry Cocktail
- 3 fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1/2 tsp. simple syrup
- 1 oz. Bombay Saphire Gin
- 2 oz. Dry Champagne, chilled
- Sprig fresh thyme, for garnish
- 2 blackberries, for garnish
Place blackberries and syrup in mixing glass; muddle with a pestle or handle of a wooden spoon. Add gin and fill with ice. Shake briskly for 30 seconds, until well chilled. Strain into chilled cocktail glass, top off with Champagne and garnish with fresh thyme and blackberries.
