Golden Bronx
A bit of orange juice, Cointreau and vermouth gives this cocktail its well-balanced, fruity edge; the creaminess comes from the egg yolk. Could be a replacement for the usual breakfast Mimosa. Maybe?
Golden Bronx
makes 1
- 2 oz. gin
- 1/4 oz. Cointreau or Grand Marnier
- 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tsp. sweet vermouth
- 1 tsp. dry vermouth
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 orange segment, for garnish
Place everything but the orange segment in shaker and fill with ice. Shake briskly until well chilled, about 30 seconds. Pour into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with orange segment.
